The Snail is a 1980s retro T25 Volkswagen Devon conversion Campervan. The retro VW Campervan offers a slow paced holiday, hence its name, The Snail. Why not set off on an adventure from our Brecon Beacons base to explore and experience what the great outdoors has to offer with this self drive option. 

The Snail has been refurbished with a brand new engine, air suspension, leisure battery power system, LED lighting and USB sockets, easy clean flooring, new fridge and a small double rock and roll bed along with a small double bed situated in the elevating roof which also comes in handy for extra storage. The rotating front passenger seat provides extra seating in the lounge area, complimented by a bespoke pull out drawer for use. We have carefully upholstered its interior with funky curtains and retro seating bringing back a sense of nostalgia.

Within the fitted kitchen unit, there is a sink, double ring gas hob, a 2 way fridge along with an electric toaster and an electric/gas kettle. We supply cutlery, crockery, saucepans, utensils and a washing up/cleaning essentials pack (supplied at and additional cost of £5), and complimentary tea and coffee ready for take off.

There is additional storage for the water container and the gas bottle within the unit. To keep you cosy during your stay there is an electric heater, hot water bottle and a crochet blanket for those sunset evenings.

There is a chemical portable toilet stored beneath the rock and roll bed in case of emergencies during the night or out and about on your travels! For peace of mind there is a carbon monoxide alarm, smoke alarm, and fire extinguisher fitted. All gas and electricals are tested to meet relevant safety checks. There is also a first aid kit to hand. 

To enjoy the great outdoors The Snail is equipped with a retro orange awning and mat, foldaway table and dinky deckchairs for alfresco dining. For more outdoor adventures, we provide a fitted bike rack for 2 bikes and electric hookup lead. 

Maximum of 2 small well behaved pets are welcome with an additional cost of £20 per booking.
