A beautiful and unique stay in Crai, with the train car having been beautifully and practically restored to a high standard whilst also remaining in keeping with a lot of original features. The location is quiet and peaceful and this is the perfect place for a quiet weekend away. Claire was lovely, kind and communicative. We've already booked our next stay in September!

The Train stay was absolutely wonderful, there’s a stunning view to look at every morning and evening. The train itself is so cozy and lovely you can’t help but feel happy. The hosts left plenty of recommendations in the guide book, we did the waterfalls trail and went to the Welsh rarebit centre. I would 100% recommend this stay!

This is such an amazing place, and clearly a labour of love. we had everything we needed in the compact space, including heating if it got cold. we were able to cook several meals and had all we needed. Listening to the wildlife outside was incredible. such a very special place. we will be back!

What an amazing place and experience this is. Not to missed !! The Toad is beautifully done and the love and attention the hosts give it is so evident. The area is stunning and peaceful and has a lovely welcoming vibe. We are experienced glampers and Toad is unique in every aspect. We loved all the GWR memorabilia and our trip to the Brecon Mountain railway made it clear that the Toad is a real jewel in Crai’s crown.
